This special event has been devised in partnership with the Ashmolean Museum, inspired by our Colour Revolution exhibition. Team member Matthew Winterbottom will introduce selected highlights, including works by Ruskin and Burne-Jones. Around this is woven a programme of songs carefully chosen by black soprano Gweneth Ann Rand which will complement and illuminate these works with music by Barber, Britten, Debussy and Messiaen.
